UHIN’s CEO Named One of the Most Powerful Women in Health IT

Health Data Management magazine keeps 214,000+ healthcare and HIT professionals and executives informed about technology-driven healthcare transformation. On April 8, 2016, HDM named UHIN’s President and CEO, Teresa Rivera, one of the most powerful women in healthcare IT!

HDM is honoring 75 women leaders in healthcare IT, including Provider/Payer Executives, CIOs-IT Execs, and Thought Leaders. Teresa was named to the Provider/Payer Executives list, where she’s in company with 14 fellow notables including Margaret E. O’Kane, President of the National Committee for Quality Assurance; Dr. Jan Lee, CEO of the Delaware Health Information Network; and Meredith R. Phillips, Senior Chief Privacy and Information Security Officer of Henry Ford Health System. HDM lauds Teresa for leading the charge to modernize the cHIE platform with best-of-breed technology, and for bringing the HIE voice to the national discussion about interoperability. Teresa is also known for her commitment to fostering the development of next-generation IT leaders.

The 75 designees were honored at The Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT Conference, held May 12, 2016 in Boston.
