Proclaim Sunset Prompts Major Updates to UHINt 2.5 Software |

With the Regence decision to sunset the Proclaim software, many providers have found themselves in the unenviable position of searching for a new connection. Since the original announcement on December 1st that Proclaim would be phased out, providers have been making changes big and small so that their electronic billing can continue. As the transitions reach completion, former Proclaim users who switched to UHINt are facing some differences in the way they do things. UHINt 2.5 is provided for through the UHIN membership, and while it has a different “face” that may take time to become familiar, it will continue provide a free solution to meet providers’ needs.
While there have always been different strengths for both UHINt 2.5 and Proclaim, this massive migration to UHINt 2.5 supplies an opportunity to bring the best of Proclaim and UHINt 2.5 together. To this end, the UHIN staff has been working hard on adding functionality that former Proclaim users feel will benefit the software and its users.
Part of that process has involved a new Advisory Board for UHINt 2.5. This board is composed of current users from the community, and works with the Change Management Committee to get the most vital updates implemented. The Advisory Board provides an opportunity for users to influence the direction of the UHINt software. Anyone who would like to submit a request should send an email to customerservice@uhin.org, and it will be passed on to the Advisory Board.
