Creating a Checkstatus

Attention software developers and/or vendors: If you are a vendor or maintain your own Practice Management software, it is important for you to ensure that your software’s CheckStatus requests are compliant with UHIN’s Technical Reference Manual (TRM).

UHINt Receives Updates

If you use UHINt 2.5, you may have noticed that around mid January you were prompted to accept some updates. The changes UHIN implemented include a fix for Medicare Coordination of Benefit (COB) claims, a change for the Service Location box, adding a field to the 277FE display, and more. UHIN will achieve Meaningful Use HIE functionality

For Clinicians who are working towards the Medicare/Medicaid Meaningful Use incentive payments (which begin next year), UHIN, as the State - HIE must provide Health Information Exchange (HIE) functionality to meet those goals.

UHIN Increases Face-to-Face Time
UHIN is making some changes to our Member Relations department in order to bring our service up to the next level. Beginning in August 2010, two representatives from Member Relations will be dedicated to spending the majority of their time visiting the Utah provider offices. This means that when you have complex problems or need training, we can send a representative to handle it personally.
